Ashton Faulkner joined the Beryl Oil & Gas team in March 2017. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin pursuing her master’s degree in geology. She received her BS in Geology with a minor in Geoinformatics from Texas A&M University in May 2016. She previously interned with the Railroad Commission of Texas in the Underground Injection Control department. Her time at the commission was dedicated to studying the seismicity issues occurring in the Fort Worth basin.
Ashton is skillful in ESRI’s ArcGIS. She has experience in the theory and operations of Global Navigation Satellite Systems as well as Remote Sensing applications used to solve research problems common in the field of Geosciences. Ashton is a member of the West Texas Geological Society and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
