Ashton Faulkner Bruyere joined the Beryl Oil & Gas team in March, 2017 as a Geotech. She was promoted to Geologist in October, 2017 and Exploration Manager in January, 2023. Prior to joining Beryl, Ashton interned with the Railroad Commission of Texas in the Underground Injection Control Department. Ashton has worked on geological projects in Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Oklahoma, with the majority of her experience in the Permian Basin.

Mrs. Bruyere received a BS in Geology with a minor in Geoinformatics from Texas A&M University in May 2016. She earned her MS in Geology with a focus on palynology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in December, 2018. Ashton is an active member of West Texas Geological Society (WTGS), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Young Professionals in Energy (YPE), and the Permian Basin Section of the Society for Economic Paleontologists and Mineralogists (PBS-SEPM). She currently serves as Treasurer for PBS-SEPM.
